Good value on international payment

I was looking for the best deal on sending money internationally for my small business. WorldFirst offered a 'first transfer free' deal, which was great. It helped me save a bit on the fees for my AUD local account transfer. The process was straightforward enough, and the money arrived faster than I expected. Definitely felt like I got good value for my money.

So happy with my World Account!

Oh my goodness, I just opened a World Account with WorldFirst and it's amazing! The setup was so easy, and now I can collect payments in so many different currencies without a headache. I was a bit worried about managing international sales, but this has made it incredibly simple. I am definitely going to recommend them to all my friends who run online businesses! So excited to use it more!

Quick transfer, good rates

Needed to send GBP to a supplier. Used WorldFirst for the first time. Exchange rate was good. Transfer went through in two days. No issues. Will use again.

Consistent service, reliable transfers

This wasn't my first time using WorldFirst; I've been with them for about a year now for my e-commerce business. I mostly use their marketplace collections and multi-currency account features. This time, I needed to convert some EUR to USD, and it was just as smooth as always. The exchange rates are consistently competitive, and transfers usually go through within a couple of days, sometimes even faster. I keep coming back because I know what to expect, and they deliver.

Solid service with minor hiccup

I used WorldFirst to set up a USD local account for my business and for a cross-border transfer. Overall, the experience was quite good. The sign-up process for the World Account was clear, and I appreciated the competitive exchange rates they offered. The transfer itself went through without a hitch, and the funds reached the recipient in about three business days, which is reasonable. My only minor gripe was that verifying my business documents took a little longer than I anticipated, adding an extra day to the initial setup. Once that was done though, everything else was smooth. Good service, just be prepared for the initial verification to take a moment.

Can I integrate WorldFirst with my Shopify store or is it just for Amazon sellers?

S Steve 2 months ago
It's not just Amazon! I connect mine to my Etsy store too, and I know people who use it for other marketplace collections. They have solutions for e-commerce generally.

M Marcus 2 months ago
Yeah, they support a bunch of marketplace collections, not just Amazon. You can usually link up different platforms to get paid into your World Account.

I'm in New York, if I sign up for the World Card, how long does it usually take to get it in the mail?

T Tom V. 1 month ago
I'm in Cali and it took about a week and a half for mine to arrive after I applied. Might be similar for you.

J Jared 1 month ago
Hmm, I think mine took around 7-10 business days. It's not instant, but came pretty reliably.

Does WorldFirst have any monthly fees or anything hidden like that for the multi-currency accounts? Just trying to compare with Wise.

P Phil 2 months ago
Nah, I've had my World Account for a while now and no monthly fees from them. Just the exchange rate margin.

E Elena 2 months ago
I haven't seen any monthly account fees myself. Their main thing is making money on the exchange rates, so that's what you gotta watch for. Way better than traditional banks though.

Does WorldFirst allow individuals to open accounts or is it strictly business only?

C Cody 2 months ago
It's primarily for businesses, like e-commerce sellers and SMEs. I don't think individuals can just open one for personal transfers.

Pretty sure it's business-focused. If you're not running a business or selling online, you might be better off with something like Wise for personal stuff.

How do WorldFirst exchange rates compare to like, Payoneer? I mostly do USD to AUD transfers.

J June Silva 1 month ago
I've used both for USD to AUD. WorldFirst usually edges out Payoneer for me on larger transfers. Payoneer is sometimes better for really small stuff, but for business, WF is often more competitive.

S Steve 1 month ago
It can vary a lot, but for actual exchange rates, WorldFirst often has better margins, especially as your volume goes up. Payoneer sometimes feels a bit higher on the spread.

Thinking of signing up for WorldFirst. Do they have any new customer bonuses or anything like that? Or is it just the standard rates?

L Laura 2 months ago
Definitely look for a referral link! That's how I got a little bonus after my first big transfer. Usually it's like a cash back deal.

E Emma H. 2 months ago
Yep, there's usually some kind of sign-up incentive. I got a fee-free transfer deal when I opened my account last year. Check around for partner offers too.

Hey, wondering if WorldFirst is any good for a small e-commerce biz. I'm shipping stuff from the US to Europe, mostly EUR. Is it quick?

C Cody 2 months ago
Yeah, I use them for my Amazon UK sales. Transfers usually hit my US bank in 1-2 business days for EUR. Pretty fast in my experience.
3
E Elena 2 months ago
It really depends on the currency and banks involved but I've always had mine go through within a couple of days, sometimes same day if it's a major currency like EUR.

Is WorldFirst actually safe to use? Like, my money won't disappear right? Heard about some companies being sketchy.

C Cleo 2 months ago
They're regulated, don't worry. Been using them for years and never had an issue with funds going missing. They're legit.
6
R Rachel Silva 2 months ago
Yeah, they're a big company and regulated in multiple places. Not a fly-by-night operation. Your money is generally safe, they're not a bank but they follow financial regulations.
